Gervais Euleene Long, age 92 of Nakina, NC passed away Thursday, October 15, 2026 in her home. Born September 11, 1934 in Horry County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Macy Almond Long and Lollie Belle Long.
She is survived by three daughters, Frankie Lynn Long of Nakina, Donna Long (Thurston Watkins) of North Myrtle Beach, SC, Vicky Long Faulk (James Jr.) of Tabor City, NC; two sons, Paul Ken Long of Nakina, NC and Ricky Long (Shelley) of Nakina, NC; one sister, Ida Smith (Stan) of Little River, SC; seven grandchildren, Danielle, Ethan, Jonathan, Skyler, Madison, Joshua, and Savannah; and five great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul McLennon Long; three brothers, Guy Long, Macy Almond Long, Jr., and William “Bill” Long; and son-in-law, Richard Martin.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Pireway Primitive Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
