ELIZABETHTOWN, N.C. — A months-long narcotics investigation by the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Unit led to the arrest of an Elizabethtown man on multiple drug and firearm charges.
Justin “Jay” Romales Williams, 46, of 802 Fox St., Elizabethtown, was taken into custody following a search warrant execution at his residence.
The operation was initiated after investigators received numerous community complaints regarding open-air illegal drug transactions and local fentanyl overdoses in the area. During the search of the property, deputies recovered several firearms along with drug paraphernalia.
Williams faces charges including:

Possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver cocaine

Possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver methamphetamine

Possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver marijuana

Maintaining a dwelling for drug activities

Manufacture, sale, and possession of illegal drugs within 1,000 feet of a park

Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
Following his arrest, Williams was ordered held under no bond at the Bladen County Detention Center. Additional updates regarding court dates and legal proceedings will be available through the North Carolina Judicial Branch.
