MYRTLE BEACH, SC — Myrtle Beach will hold its annual September 11 Remembrance Ceremony at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 11, at the Unity Memorial in Warbird Park, 150 Farrow Parkway.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks that claimed nearly 3,000 lives.
The ceremony is open to the public, and city officials say the event provides an opportunity for residents and visitors to reflect on the lives lost and the lasting impact of the attacks. Free parking will be available at Warbird Park for those attending.
If inclement weather develops, the ceremony will move indoors to the General Robert H. Reed Recreation Center at 800 Gabreski Lane.
