MYRTLE BEACH, SC — A 39‑year‑old man has been arrested following an alleged assault reported Monday morning in the downtown area.
According to police records, Courtland Carter Lambert was taken into custody on September 8 at approximately 9:00 a.m. Lambert is charged with Assault and Battery, 3rd Degree, a misdemeanor under South Carolina law.
The arrest occurred in the 1100 block of North Oak Street, where officers responded and initiated the case at the same time the arrest was logged. No additional details regarding the circumstances of the alleged assault were immediately released.
The case remains under investigation.
