MYRTLE BEACH, SC — A 55‑year‑old woman was taken into custody Friday afternoon following an assault incident reported along South Ocean Boulevard.
According to police records, Wendy Ann Gratz, of Myrtle Beach, was arrested on September 18 at approximately 3:20 p.m. Gratz is charged with Assault and Battery, 2nd Degree, a felony under South Carolina law.
The incident occurred in the 1800 block of South Ocean Boulevard, where officers responded and initiated the case at the same time the arrest was logged.
No additional details regarding the circumstances of the alleged assault were immediately released. The case remains under investigation.
