Donna Simmons, 64 of Longs, SC, passed on October 15, 2026. She was born on October 31, 1961 in West Point, NY to Bernice Ludwig Wood and the late John Thomas Wood.
Donna and her beloved husband Tommy were married on November 7, 1981, this upcoming November they would have been married 45 years. She would have also celebrated her 65 birthday this coming October 31.
She is survived by her loving husband Tommy Simmons; daughter, Cecelia Dawn Smith and husband Dustin of Shallotte, N.C.; brothers, Johnny Wood and wife Doris of Hendersonville, N.C., Walter Wood of Hendersonville, N.C.; sister, Stephanie Wood of Asheville, N.C.; grandchildren, Hayla Kate Smith, Jaina Lee Smith.
