TABOR CITY, NC — A 19-year-old Tabor City man was taken into custody Saturday afternoon on weapons-related charges.
Deputies with the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jace Alexander Chestnut, 19, of 9034 Old Stake Road, Tabor City, at 4:53 p.m. on October 24. Chestnut was charged with Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Resisting a Public Officer. He was released after posting a $500 secured bond.
