Driver Cited for Electronic Device Violation on Harrelson Boulevard

MYRTLE BEACH, SC — A 39‑year‑old woman was cited Wednesday morning after officers reported an electronic‑device violation at the intersection of Harrelson Boulevard and South Kings Highway.

According to Myrtle Beach Police Department records, Britni Adaire Mullins, 39, was cited at 2 Harrelson Boulevard and South Kings Highway at 11:46 a.m. on September 11, 2026.

South Carolina’s distracted‑driving statute, Section 56‑5‑3890, prohibits drivers from holding or manually using a cell phone while a vehicle is in motion, making handheld device use a citable offense statewide.

Officers issued a citation for the following alleged violation:

• Traffic / Unlawful Use of an Electronic Device While Operating a Motor Vehicle — First Offense
