Traffic stop in the Legion Street area led to multiple misdemeanor charges early Monday morning.
Horry County, NC — A 32-year-old Myrtle Beach man was arrested early Monday morning after being charged with multiple misdemeanor offenses following an incident near the intersection of Legion Street and 12th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach.
According to police records, Donshay Eugene Searles, 32, was arrested at approximately 3:00 a.m. on October 5 and charged with:
- DUI, less than .10, first offense
- Possession of 28 grams (1 ounce) or less of marijuana, first offense
- Transporting alcohol in a motor vehicle with a broken seal
- Failure to stop for a blue light, no injury or death
- Unlawful passing
The incident was reported in the 1100 block of Legion Street near 12th Avenue North. Records show several citations associated with the same case number were issued following the arrest.
In a related citation, Lexie Laray Lorenzana, 34, was cited for transporting alcohol in a motor vehicle with a broken seal during the same incident. (not pictured)
The case remains pending in the court system.
